The Ilawe-Ekiti Medical Outreach, held in February 2026 at Stream Waters Initiative Church, Ilawe-Ekiti, Ekiti State, expanded Mary Helping Hands Foundation's healthcare intervention efforts into another underserved community in Nigeria.
The outreach was designed to address barriers to healthcare access while promoting preventive health practices among community members. A multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and volunteers provided medical consultations, screenings, medication support, health education, and referrals for individuals requiring further medical attention.
Approximately 700 beneficiaries received healthcare services during the programme, including pregnant women, children, adults, and senior citizens. The outreach focused on identifying and managing common health conditions while creating awareness about the importance of routine health checks and healthy living.
The success of the programme reinforced the Foundation's mission to deliver compassionate healthcare services to vulnerable populations and contribute to healthier, more resilient communities across Nigeria.

The Ogombo Community Outreach conducted on September 30, 2025, at RCCG Unity Parish and Ogombo Health Centre marked one of the largest healthcare interventions organized by Mary Helping Hands Foundation.
With over 1,204 beneficiaries reached, the programme demonstrated the Foundation's unwavering commitment to improving access to healthcare services for underserved communities. The outreach brought together volunteer healthcare professionals, community stakeholders, and support teams to provide free consultations, health screenings, medication distribution, health education, and referral services.
The intervention addressed a wide range of healthcare needs affecting children, pregnant women, nursing mothers, adults, and older persons. Through early detection of medical conditions, health counseling, and access to essential medications, the outreach contributed significantly to improving health outcomes within the community.
Beyond healthcare delivery, the programme strengthened community awareness regarding preventive health practices and encouraged beneficiaries to take proactive steps toward maintaining healthier lives.

The Mother & Child Health Centre Outreach, held on June 25, 2025, in Ogombo, Lagos State, was specifically designed to support maternal and child health, one of the core focus areas of Mary Helping Hands Foundation.
Recognizing the importance of quality healthcare during pregnancy and early childhood, the programme provided targeted services for pregnant women, nursing mothers, infants, and young children. Beneficiaries received health assessments, maternal health education, nutritional counseling, child wellness checks, medication support, and referrals where necessary.
The outreach emphasized preventive healthcare, safe motherhood, child nutrition, and early intervention for health concerns affecting mothers and children. Through professional healthcare support and personalized counseling, participants were equipped with valuable information to improve health outcomes for themselves and their families.
Although smaller in scale than some community outreaches, the programme achieved meaningful impact by reaching 103 beneficiaries and delivering specialized care to a critical population group.

The Abeokuta Community Outreach, conducted on April 26, 2025, stands as one of Mary Helping Hands Foundation's most impactful healthcare interventions to date. Implemented across two outreach centres in Isolu, Ogun State, the programme demonstrated the Foundation's capacity to deliver large-scale healthcare services to multiple communities simultaneously.
Designed to address healthcare access challenges among vulnerable populations, the outreach provided comprehensive medical consultations, laboratory screenings, maternal and child health services, medication support, health education, and referrals for specialized treatment.
A total of 972 beneficiaries were served, including pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, older adults, and members of underserved households. The programme not only improved access to healthcare but also increased awareness of preventive health practices and early disease detection.
The success of this dual-location intervention reflects the Foundation's growing reach and commitment to delivering sustainable healthcare solutions that transform lives and strengthen community well-being.

The Upogoro Community Medical Outreach was organized on September 21, 2024, at Holy Flock of Christ Church, Upogoro, Kogi State, as part of Mary Helping Hands Foundation's ongoing effort to bridge healthcare gaps in rural and underserved communities.
Access to healthcare remains a challenge for many residents in the area due to financial limitations and limited availability of medical services. In response, the Foundation partnered with healthcare volunteers to provide free consultations, health screenings, medications, and wellness education to community members.
The outreach served individuals across different age groups, including children, pregnant women, adults, and senior citizens. Particular attention was given to identifying chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes, while also addressing common health concerns through immediate treatment and referrals where necessary.
By bringing healthcare directly to the community, the programme helped improve health awareness, promote preventive healthcare practices, and strengthen trust between healthcare providers and community members. The intervention successfully reached over 480 beneficiaries, creating lasting impact within the community.

The Ogombo Community Medical Outreach, held on April 27, 2024, at New Town Football Field, represented another significant milestone in Mary Helping Hands Foundation's commitment to improving healthcare access for underserved populations in Lagos State.
Recognizing the growing healthcare challenges faced by low-income families, older adults, pregnant women, and children within the community, the Foundation mobilized a team of healthcare professionals and volunteers to deliver free, quality healthcare services directly to residents.
The outreach provided comprehensive medical consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, medication distribution, health education, and referrals for specialized care. Many beneficiaries who had not undergone routine medical checks in years were screened and counseled on managing health conditions and adopting healthier lifestyles.
Beyond treatment, the programme created an opportunity for community engagement and health awareness, empowering residents with knowledge to make informed health decisions and seek timely medical care. Through this intervention, over 520 beneficiaries gained access to healthcare services that may otherwise have remained out of reach.

The Ihima Community Medical Outreach marked one of the earliest large-scale healthcare interventions organized by Mary Helping Hands Foundation (MHH) as part of its mission to improve access to quality healthcare for underserved communities.
Conducted over two days at Holy Flock of Christ Church, Ihima, the outreach brought together volunteer healthcare professionals, community leaders, and humanitarian partners to provide free medical services to individuals who would otherwise face financial and geographical barriers to healthcare.
The outreach served a diverse population including pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, older adults, and vulnerable families. Through consultations, screenings, medications, health education, and referrals, the program helped identify and address common health conditions while promoting preventive healthcare practices.
